Epics stem of Epos what is greek and means "narration". Epics are especially to find in narrations and tell the happenings in the inside of the world but much more in the ouside. There's a distance between tha narrator and the reader i. e. the narrator doesn't act a part in the action, he fronts it. Especially the setting is described exactly. The whole things acts in the past. In fairytails e. g. there are many epic repeatings such e. g. when the witch does a thing thrice or something's described or said identically often.
